DR. EDWARD ANDERSON
Professor of Operations Management
at the University of Texas
Dr. Edward Anderson is Wright Centennial Professor for the Management of Innovation Technology at the University of Texas McCombs School of Business. He is past President of the Production & Operations Management Society and author of two books: The Innovation Butterfly, on managing decentralized innovation, and Operations Management for Dummies, a field guide to operations management best practices. He has PhD in Management Science from MIT and a BA in Electrical Engineering and History from Stanford. Ed holds six patents and has worked extensively with major corporations such as Dell, Ford, Frito-Lay, and SAP.

Prior to joining KPMG, Dr. Evans was Vice President at the Center for Global Enterprise a nonprofit organization established by Sam Palmisano, former Chairman and CEO of IBM. Dr. Evans also held key strategy and market intelligence roles at General Electric..

Andrei Hagiu is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. Previously, he was an Associate Professor in the Strategy group at Harvard Business School and in Strategic Management at MIT Sloan. Andrei holds a PhD in economics from Princeton University and is a citizen of Romania, France and the United States. His research and teaching on multi-sided platforms has been featured in top journals such as Rand and Harvard Business Review. His Harvard cases are taught worldwide. Andrei is on the board of advisors of marketplaces such as CoachUp (sports), a marketplace for private sports coaching, LexInsight (legal talent), an online marketplace for legal talent, and TCGplayer (gaming).
